XL Revolver models include the Chiappa Rhino, Taurus Raging Hunter (unscoped), Taurus Raging Judge, S&W 500, S&W 460 XVR, S&W 350 Legend, S&W PC Competitors (unscoped), Magnum Research BFR, Gary Reeder 500 Maximum BMF, Rossi Brawler, Thompson Center Encore, and Thompson Center Contender. Strap Sizing & How to Wear
Correct Position
Wear on the center of your chest over your sternum. Adjust shoulder strap front or back to raise or lower. Slide the swivel back piece to center of your back so your core carries the weight.
How Tight
Snug against your rib cage. Should not shift or flop. A snug fit enables the one-handed quick draw. If it moves during the draw stroke, tighten slightly.
With Pack or Binos
Slide the holster under your arm when bino harness or chest pack is in use. Still accessible for a quick draw. Slim back panel is designed not to interfere with backpack shoulder straps.
Trimming Excess
Enough nylon for a 56" chest (4XL). Once fitted correctly, trim excess with scissors then burn the cut end with a lighter to permanently prevent fraying.

See exactly how to adjust the strap system and position the holster — filmed in Alaska by the people who built it.
No optic / optic not mounted: Use the Denali® Standard — select the XL revolver barrel length option (6 3/4" or 8 3/8").
Red dot or scope mounted past the cylinder: Standard placement on a rail extends the optic past the cylinder, which means you need the Denali® HUNTER. If you use an aftermarket low-profile mount that keeps the optic within the cylinder area, the standard Denali® may still fit — contact us to confirm.
