Wore it for 5 days with a 7.5" bbl Ruger Super Redhawk with a Burris 2x scope. The holster fits this revolver well. The strap system is well designed, making it easy to put the rig on and adjust with one pull on the strap. Also easy off using one quick-release buckle. The ease of use and instant adjustability are very helpful as you add/remove clothing layers during the day. The adjustable retention strap is easily customized to your firearm size/make. The cartridge loops actually retain the cartridges securely (44 mag in my case)--I state what seems obvious here because not all competing products succeed at this. I tested the rig at first with only two rounds to be sure it was scattering my precious handloads over half the state, and it is definitely trustworthy. A couple suggestions for further development: 1. Some kind of low-noise lining could be useful. Clearly the cordura is very durable, but drawing steel from plain cordura makes a perceptible noise. Handgun hunting is often at archery ranges where that could matter. I don't know personally what a low-noise AND durable lining would be, so this is an R&D suggestion. 2. Suggestion two is not a 'problem' but an idea for an alternate product. I have more of an "endurance" body type meaning, bluntly, that I don't have a lot of upper body muscle--it's all in my legs. So, my shoulder muscle under the shoulder strap just got tired after several hours. For wimps like me, an alternate rig with a two-shoulder-strap "X" design would be great, although that would probably be harder to get on and off.
