I called to order a holster on a Tuesday. Thursday afternoon it arrived at my doorstep not bad Alaska to Montana. I tried the fit for two revolvers. First was a Freedom arms model 83 454, 7 1/2 inch barrel with a 2x scope mounted to the top strap. The second was a Ruger SBH Hunter model 44 magnum, 7 1/2 barrel. This revolver has a 2x scope that's mounts on the barrel rib. Both revolvers fit in the holster securely even though the scopes are mounted in different positions. The holster is comfortable and carries the weight of the revolvers very well while being secure. My only regret is waiting too long to order this holster system.

Item arrived on time and as ordered. Its an oven mitt. That's ok, that's what I expected, and that's the best way to describe the item; its huge, and worked very well for the revolver/scope set up I have. The strap quality was great, mitt was quality and well crafted. Snap worked well. It would be interesting to see if they used a center button quick release or similar for the hammer strap to avoid the sound the snap makes when released. If you're in a stand or an otherwise concealed location and have the weapon secured, the snap is loud when released and will get you busted. A center button or pressure release would likely allow you to maintain the weapon being secured and have the option to control the release when needed. Certainly worth a 5star rating. I'd definitely recommend.

My new Denali chest holster worked great for my .460 cal pistol! Took only three days from ordering to delivery. Scope easily fits in holster, and gun feels well balanced while walking. Hammer strap holds gun securely. Would definitely buy from Diamond D again!

Wore it for 5 days with a 7.5" bbl Ruger Super Redhawk with a Burris 2x scope. The holster fits this revolver well. The strap system is well designed, making it easy to put the rig on and adjust with one pull on the strap. Also easy off using one quick-release buckle. The ease of use and instant adjustability are very helpful as you add/remove clothing layers during the day. The adjustable retention strap is easily customized to your firearm size/make. The cartridge loops actually retain the cartridges securely (44 mag in my case)--I state what seems obvious here because not all competing products succeed at this. I tested the rig at first with only two rounds to be sure it was scattering my precious handloads over half the state, and it is definitely trustworthy. A couple suggestions for further development: 1. Some kind of low-noise lining could be useful. Clearly the cordura is very durable, but drawing steel from plain cordura makes a perceptible noise. Handgun hunting is often at archery ranges where that could matter. I don't know personally what a low-noise AND durable lining would be, so this is an R&D suggestion. 2. Suggestion two is not a 'problem' but an idea for an alternate product. I have more of an "endurance" body type meaning, bluntly, that I don't have a lot of upper body muscle--it's all in my legs. So, my shoulder muscle under the shoulder strap just got tired after several hours. For wimps like me, an alternate rig with a two-shoulder-strap "X" design would be great, although that would probably be harder to get on and off.
